I recently built my 1st pc, everything went well except for one thing. I somehow pulled the yellow wire out of the hd audio peice you plug into the mobo. It looks like I need a new front panel connector but I can't find what I need. My front panel has a mic jack, audio jack, 3.0 usb and 2.0 usb. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Wow that was fast thanks for the reply. I will look into that, i have no experience crimping but ill figure it out. What do you think about replacing the whole thing? I found this on ebay, this looks like what i need but i dont know enough to know if there are any differences in what i have and this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/223046212767

Remove the old terminal from the housing, strip the wire back a few mm, crimp a new terminal on it, and install the new terminal into the original housing.

Well, it is cheaper than the crimping tool (Shipping is free from China, it it?), but I do that kind of thing all the time, so going the tool and terminal route may not be the right thing for you.

As long as you are certain that it will fit your case, it sounds like the cheapest solution to the problem.
