Replace laptop CPU?

So I'm planning to get a Lenovo flex 3 11.6" laptop, but it comes with a celeron core. My older sister broke her old laptop, which had an i7 chip inside. I know I can safely access the chip, but can you just switch out chips? Any help is appreciated!

Check the specs on the Lenovo laptop. It will list all the compatible CPUs. If the CPUs are compatible, they may be interchangeable. Next check whether the CPU is soldered on to the motherboard; if so, stop.

The cpu on that 2 in 1 is bga, which means it's soldered to the mothetboard and not upgradable/replacable.
