Hi! I have a question. The screen of my acer nitro 5 an515-51 got damaged, and I am looking for a replacement. However, I dont have money at the moment to buy it, but I have another acer, model es1-512-c4sq which as I can see on Internet it is the same size and pins (15,6" 30 pins), but it is not 1920x1080. I was wondering, can I use the es1 screen on the nitro in the meantime, or may the nitro 5 get damaged if I connect another screen with different resolution? Thanks

Without knowing exactly what model of displays they used, the only thing to work off of is the assumption they used the same supplier and hopefully they have the same pin-outs for the display connector.

As for the possibility of damage, yes if one of the lines that supplies power to the display is instead a ground line from the display's end.
