Replace nVidia GeForce GT630 on GTX 1050 Ti

Hi all, i have Acer Aspire X3995 with Intel Core i5-2320 and nVidia GeForce GT630.

Can I replace it on ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 128-bit Cerberus Advanced Edition?

Can be problems with PSU?
As i know recommended System Power for both of them are 300W.

As I see PSU - 220W

I think there is a good potential for problems running with a 220W PSU....although being it's running now with a GT630....it may work but maybe not.

There are 3 different GT 630s that I see and the 1050 Ti can draw more than all of them so the only way to know for sure is to try it.

Being you are so close to "the line"....I think it is hard to say either way.

I think that you won't really know until you try it.

OR!

You could just get a bigger PSU.

or
Core i5-2320 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

I think the 1060 might be a little too much.
I'd probably go with the 1050 Ti.

I just looked up your Computer and it seems to have a custom PSU in it, can anyone confirm this? If so, then your upgrade options are severely limited unless you can change that PSU

Unfortunately - yes. I will change PSU and will change chassis.

I think the 1060 might be a little too much.
I'd probably go with the 1050 Ti.

All works fine, update PSU with 400W, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and chassis.
