[SOLVED] Replace Optane card with bigger SSD in Lenovo 90HT

I am trying to replace the 16GB Optane card with a bigger SSD.
When I try to change the ATA setting in BIOS to AHCI I get a warning message that my system may not boot up depending on the system image on the HDD.
Any help?
