Replace or Repair

If you have a broken pc parts (e.g. motherboard) would you rather replace that part or bring it to a shop and try to repair it?

Replace. Someone with enough skill to find the fault and then fix it would most likely charge more per hour in labour cost than what a new motherboard costs.
