Replace Samsung 840 pro

Hi guys, considering new technologies and prices that go down, I was planning to replace my Samsung 840 pro 256 gb, with something better and newer. My first option was 850 pro, but reading more and more I'm less sure and more confused. Can you help me please?

You don't really need to upgrade the 840 pro unless you need a larger capacity SSD or the speed of the 850 pro. What your intentions in utilising the 850 pro?
Do you have the hardware to support running the 850 pro at the rated speed?
