Hi, I'd like to upgrade the existing 128GB SSD in our Lenovo Ideapad 320s 141kb to a 240 SSD. I got a WDGreen M2 2280, cloned the existing card and replaced it, but the laptop doesn't boot. Is the card incompatible, do I need to replace a driver? Thanks in advance.

What is the previous ssd in the system? I suspect the m.2 slot may only support nvme drives. The wd green is sata.
If your machine does support sata m.2, i would updated the bios.

Just done a bit more searching, looks like you may be right about the nvme

How would I check it supported sata m.2 (as well) and what would need to be done to the bios? Or is it worth just getting another (nvme) ssd?
Thanks
