replaced broken lcd on samsung s4 gt i9500 not working

i got a samsung galaxy s4 gt i9500. i dropped the phone and broke the display. i bought a new one and when i was done with replacing the screen didnt show anything. all I see is some lines on the screen and when I push the contact of the screen, i guess it s called pins, i see more lines. thats why i suspect that it is the contact on the mother board that is failing. i would like to be sure about it but still it is highly possible.

does anybody else had that issue? if i decide to change the pins on the motherboard how do I do it? anyone that knows the name of that component?

i tried to take out the batteri and hold the power button, didnt work. i pushed the pins harder no big difference. please see the picture

You can buy a full working S4 for under $100, or a newer S5 for almost the same. I don't see you being able to replace the contacts on the motherboard, would be better to just replace the phone, or maybe the system board from a working S4.
