Question Replaced GPU fans, they won’t start spinning.

I changed my GPU fans because the old ones stopped working. When I turn my pc on it works as usual but only 1 of the fans spin, in HWmonitor it doesn’t show that the fan is spinning so I think there’s some connection issue.
The other fans do get really hot though.
Yesterday I tried to use on of the old fans that were still working in the mix but it started smoking and melted. So that’s why I’m worried when the other fans start getting hot without spinning.

have a Gtx 970 Gigabyte windforce 3x gpu

where did you get the new fan?
Could be you connect the fan wrong?

sounds like the fan controller on the card itself is damaged.

Thank you, this is prob it. The card is 7 years old.

Is there a specific way to connect it correctly? I got it off Ebay
