I have just replaced my old motherboard and cpu in my set up from the gigabyte 970 g1 gaming rev1.1 and amd 6300 6 core processor black edition with the msi 990 fxa gaming rev1.0 and an amd 9370 8 core black edition processor. When I have built it up and put everything where I did with my last motherboard I have turned it on and there is no signal on any of my monitors or televisions I would like to know if anyone has had this trouble and could help me.

My set up is:
Amd 9370 8core 4.70Ghz processor
Msi 990fxa gaming motherboard
3 seagate barracuda 500gb hardrives
Nvidia gtx 1060 gigabyte 6gb
x2 corsair vengeance 8gb 2400mhz
1000w power supply
Aerocool strike-x test bench
Noctua NH-U9S cpu cooler

Any help at all would help this has cost me a lot of money.

Thanks :)

The site says if this is the CPU

Due to the high TDP, please be noted there are limitations while using those CPU i.e. special thermal required..

FX-9370(FD9370FHW8KHK, 4.4GHz, 8C, L3:8M, 220W,rev.C0,AM3+)

And you may have to do a clean install as well
CPU Cooler is not a supported item for your CPU. 2400MHz is not a supported speed for FX CPUs without OC. No name generic power supplies not recommended.

Maximum recommended Thermal Design Power (TDP) & Overclocking (OC) headroom
Noctua NH-U9S cpu cooler
AM2(+), AM3(+) is 125 Watt TDP.
http://noctua.at/en/tdp-guide

Your CPU has TDP of 220 watts which is nearly double the acceptable limit of 125 watts.

MSI and AMD lists special thermal cooling requirements for 9000 Series CPU -> Liquid Cooling Kit.
• 240mm dual-fan radiator recommended.

Terry psu has a name is just can't remember it and the motherboard should down scale the ram mhz it worked for my last worse motherboard and the cooler shouldn't stop it from turning on even if it over heats after a few minutes it should come up with some loading screen surely.
