Replaced my RAM. Wont show screen. Caps lock just flashes.

I just replaced my 4GB DDR3 Ram from my HP15 with a DDR3 8GB Ram. It turns on receiving power, but the screen doesnt turn on and my Caps lock button just flashes white.

What model of HP, first though is the HP doesn't support the DRAM or if adding it to what you have the sticks don't want to play, need the computer model and model #s of the DRAM
