Replaced RAM - Monitor don't respond

*doesn't respond* - was writing in hurry.

Hello Community,
Recently I replaced my old RAM with the new one and after I try to turn the computer on it shuts down for 0.5 sec and then reboots automatically, but monitor acts like it is not connected to the PC. I put my old RAM back, but it didn't change a thing. I'm not sure what to do with that.

So even after a Ram upgrade/increment, you've yet stuck around Win7 x86?

I believe you're seeing a short occur in your case. Inspect your case for any metals touching the mobo or any odd part of your case. Most probably your case standoff may be touching the underside of your case.

Many times its the case that's the culprit.

Is it 4GB of ram of 2x4GB of ram as stated here?

I have no clue as to what your PSU is. I also asked for a case make and model.

here are the other things you can do:
1| Are all the connection to your components plugged in?
2| Are the ram dimms populated on the right slots? i.e: in pairs of the blue that are farthest from CPU socket?

You have more than enough power for your components. Not a bad case though

3| remove all your hardware from your case and install them atop of your mobo box - aka breadboarding. See if the system powers up and goes into BIOS.

Edit: and the answer is your lack of attention...the manual page 1-18 says where your Dimms should go.

but you said your running x64 home and what you posted said 32 bit. ive never heard of someone using a 32 bit version on a newer computer esp a gaming computer. but hopefully you are actually running x64

I installed x32 by accident few months ago and then I struggled with PSU problems (power cutting off) so I had to run dxdiag just to get info about my pc so I could present it here. After I replaced it with new Corsair CX750M I moved on x64 immediately. I removed all the parts from the case and installed it once again. Problem still occurs to be.

In general it does turn off after 0.5 from the start, then reboots automatically after 2 seconds and then seems to work, but monitor doesn't respond.
