Got an Nvidia GT320 in my HP computer with 400 watt power unit, would like to up grade with another Nvidia keeping same power unit at time of purchase this was consider the sort of gaming entry level what is considered the entry level today please?
I suppose I'm asking which upgrade at a budget price.

It is an HP p6675uk with Intel i5 cpu 650 @ 3.3GHz and 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 64 bit.
Hope that is what you want to know.
Thanks

I checked your desktop and its only has 300watt power supply. So, i cannot recommend a good nvidia card :) but if you are fine with AMD, Sapphire 7750 will do great on your PC.

1. Less noise
2. does not require 6-pin power connector
3. can fit in smaller cabinets
4. can be installed on all PCI-e slots (1.0,2.0,3.0)
5. good performance as compared to its price

Edit: Lets see if anyone else can give a better option.

No it has a upgrade to 400 watt power unit in it.
I wish to use a Nvidia card as a replacement which in their range can you or anyone recommend please?
Thanks for the advice so far.

yes because 400w is also not enough for good Nvidia cards :)

Thanks, I'm confused then as I have looked at my local computer store and they have Nvidia GT/GTX in the 400, 500 and 600 series of which the quote computer requirements of 350 watt and 400 watt power supplies.

Unless you have some emotional connection to the store, buy online at newegg or tigerdirect etc, much cheaper.
7790 for $115 after rebates

Also, you may want to upgrade your psu any way, the ones supplied with pre-builts, especially cheap ones, can be a time bomb. This Antec unit is 80PLUS certified and will allow you to upgrade your mobo/cpu in the future

before buying a bigger card, first check if you have enough space in your cabinet.
Edit: I have seen people running 7750 at 300W

The issue is that at the lower end video cards, the Radeon cards offer more performance and lower power use. Probably the best cheaper card that will match your CPU and run on a 400 watt good power supply, is the 7770. It uses about 80watts at full power, which would leave about 200 for the rest of your system with some headroom on the power supply. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-2.html

Or for Nvidia, the 650Ti may be a good pick, although at 100+ watt max power use it's not quite as safe to use, unless you have a good quality power supply. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-3.html This will also run well with your CPU. You can actually go higher but then you are solidly in the mid range prices.
