Hi guys, I have old computer which can't even handle internet right now(lagging youtube videos) and I'd like to replace cpu so it can be still able to handle dayly tasks like word /powerpoint/ movies and youtube videos. I figured out that lagging of videos is beacause of cpu since it uses 99% of performance

Computer specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 (MS-7309) socket AM2+
A-data DDR2 2x1024MB
ATI-Radeon X1650 Pro
PSU 350W

And my question is. Is it better to replace athlon for let say phenon II, so I can still use the rest of the computer components or it is better to invest bit more and buy new board/RAM and cpu with integrated graphics under 200€?

Thank you very much

1. you would have to find a athlon 64 x2 6000+ also you have to upgrade the ram to at least 8gb. since that is all that board can handle.
