Replacement for Celeron N2940

A friend asked me if I could upgrade his 1.83 GHz processor to something above 2.2 on a Windows 8 all-in-one machine. Any suggestions for a quick, cost-effective replacement?

First check if that "Windows 8 all-in-one machine" supports CPU upgrades.
There is a possibility that CPU is soldered on the motherboard and can't be changed.

The celeron n2940 is a BGA cpu, which means its soldered to the mothetboard and not upgradable/replaceable.
