Replacement for dead 5870

So my 5870 died several hours ago, seeking a replacement.

I will be also replacing my case and PSU.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: In the next week, preferably this weekend BUDGET RANGE: $500 (GPU), $200 (PSU), $200 (Case) rebates are appreciated

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, productivity, Folding

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Sapphire HD 5870 Vapor-X 2GB (dead), XION 700W (43A on 12V), will upgrade PSU to a 1000W Rosewill or Cooler Master

I have the HAF 932 so I can say from experience that they are really great case's.Great airflow.You will be please with a case from the HAF series.

Everything else looks good but I would suggest going with a MSI Lightning GTX580.It has just as good,if not better,cooling as the DirectCU from Asus but it doesn't take up 3 slots.Which can sometimes be problematic if you want to run SLI.Even tho your mobo doesn't support it who knows you might in the future.

Go from a mediocre PSU to a bigger mediocre PSU is not a good step! With all that investment get a Corsair , Seasonic or Antec to name few quality brands!

I wouldn't call CM nor Rosewill mediocre, adding on, Corsair and Antec does not have suitable products in the 1000W range.

That Rosewill PSU is actually one of the quality units they made.It hold's up under 100% power draw and Tom's gave it a good review.
