Hello, it's my first post here, but I don't even know what to do, so I'd thank a bit of help and this seems the right place to ask for it.

I'm using now a Logitech G600, which has been amazing for me. I bought it thinking of WoW, which I used to play so much, but it has ended being my daily use mouse, so I play everything with it.

I started feeling symptoms of double-clicking (with the left one) and since its warranty expired I feel it's the time to change to a new device, though I love it when playing WoW (that double-click is not a problem for me there) so it will not end in a drawer.

I've been looking for a new mouse, and I found these models. I tried none of these so I don't know how they feel, and I guess there's nowhere I can try them, so it's more or less a blind pick.

- Logitech G502: Amazing sensor, still enough buttons (though I won't need them, I'll be using G600 for MMORPGs), three years warranty (lol). No customization though.
- Logitech G303: Plain, simple, looks amazing for MOBA, RTS and FPS. I love the customization, but it seems small, even for a claw grip player.
- Logitech G402: Its sensor it's not the same as the G502 and G303, but still a cheaper option.
- Razer DeathAdder Chroma: I tried the DeathAdder 2013 and I died, it was too big for me (and I don't have small hands at all). I don't know if this one will be better, but it
- Corsair Vengeance M65: Looks amazing for FPS.

I'm open to more options but these are the ones that look better to me. Also, my hand is like ~19 cm (I don't know what's that in inches) from middle finger to wrist. I always use claw grip.

Thank you.

the double clicking issue is fixable if you have a soldering iron, a screwdriver and a few dollars. generally its a worn out switch.

the microswitch is likely worn out and you can disassemble the mouse and replace it for literally a few dollars on ebay or other sites for like 5 switches. basically the black box with red piece next to the scrollwheel http://vitalikovalenko.com/2012i/mouse-microswitch-exposed.jpg which is not so hard to do. sure beats paying $60 for a mouse.

now it is possible to apply a bandaid and fix the problem without buying a single thing such as http://www.instructables.com/id/Repair-mouse-with-double-click-problem/?ALLSTEPS since it is generally just the spring which needs to be bent back however i will say that...

This is pretty cool, but in case you are not that ambitious:

Out of the options you mentioned, I would suggest the G502, the sensor seems amazing, which is a big plus, and it also looks the most comfortable to me. The wide variety of buttons is also nice.

To suggest another option: the Mad Catz R.A.T. 9. It is EXPENSIVE, but in my opinion, well worth it. You can customize it more than any other mouse I know of, and thereby make it very comfortable for you. The adjustable weight is fantastic in my opinion (I like my mouse heavy, and can have that, but if you prefer it light you can have that too). The precision aim is a fantastic feature, both for FPSs, and for work-type tasks that require careful clicking (Photoshop, for example). Wireless is a gigantic plus, at least to me. Finally, the sensor is very good. While 6400 dpi is no longer the highest available anywhere, it is still probably more than sufficient for most people.

i've personally used the g502 while i was looking for a replacement mouse while my deathadder was dead (double clicking issue, needed to get switches). it really is a nice mouse overall, especially for the $30 i paid for it (price match mixup by cashier, i didnt complain). the only issues i did have were that it was too narrow for my liking (i prefer deathadders so this may be an okay width for you since you found the deathadder large) and i did not care for the scroll wheel (either hyperscroll or a very clunky click-wheel). go to a local store and give it a feel and try the wheel, if you like both i'd say it would be a good mouse to go with. otherwise, i was perfectly happy (though returned it since it did not fit my needs)

generally i recommend against the r.a.t. series mice. due to the adjustable nature they are also fairly fragile and there have been many cases on here about them breaking. the sensor itself is also rather fussy about what kind of surface it is used on. i'm not saying its not a valid choice, only that you may want to consider those two factors in your decision.

Huh, I haven't personally seen people with problems with breaking R.A.T. mice. That is interesting, maybe I'm just lucky. I've been fairly abusive to mine haha (carrying it around in backpacks and such), and have had no problems.

Thank you guys for the answers.
First, I'm not really a hands guy, I'm a disaster and my mouse would die if I touched inside it. I will try, because I'll be using this mouse but I've been thinking about purchasing another mouse for so long (before the double-clicking appeared) and I need it. I can play fine every game with Logitech G600 but with some friends' mouses, I do better at FPS and MOBA games, and I play basically everything. That's why I have the idea of purchasing another mouse.

So, I'll try to repair the G600 maybe, but in first place I'd buy the mouse. I've seen the Mad Catz, and it's out of my price range I guess (a maximum of 65$ more or less). The Logitech G502 seems the best option, though the G303 is attractive, but I guess overall the G502 clearly wins. I don't know, so please keep answering.

Thank you.

basically https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgN_d2QTb9Q although he is replacing one of the other switches not the left click one. quite easy.

the m65 is a laser mouse and laser sensors have their own quirks such as tracking while in the air and heavy acceleration so it might be best to stay away unless you know what you're getting into.

if you dont like the deathadder size you wont like the chroma http://i.ytimg.com/vi/Jwkv7jKZKFU/maxresdefault.jpg

i'm not so sure about the 303 and 402 as i do not remember playing around with those. logitech likes using hyperscroll on its mice so i'd make sure to check whether or not the aforementioned mice have this or not (some people like it, some hate it).

overall the g502 or possibly its siblings arent bad choices. some of the roccat mice are similar in size to the 502 which might also appeal to you.

It looks pretty easy even for me, but I'd be careful if I actually do it.
So it seems the best one is the G502, right? Does it feel worse than the DeathAdder 2013? The DA 2013 felt kinda large for me (~19 cm middle finger to wrist, as I said before), but my friend plays properly with it (he also uses claw grip). And I don't know why, the DeathAdder is 127 mm large, while the G502 is actually 132 mm and I'm worried about it. The G600 is 118 mm large and it feels amazing for people with small or large hands, but the G303 is 115 mm large (3 mm difference) and everyone with large hands is complaining about it, so I'm confused. I guess ~19 cm is a big hand though (or I am a pixie? (?))

my hands are about 19cm as measured above and i find the deathadder to be perfectly sized for me while the g502 feels too narrow for my liking. if you thought the deathadder felt large (especially on width) my guess would be that the g502 might fit you better.

length is generally a bit less of an issue that width. if length is a bit long generally you can deal though if width is not right the mouse might feel odd.

honestly i dislike using any mice but deathadders (the 3.5g specifically) though i really would have liked to keep the g502. since i'm used to larger mice though my pinky kept curling under when using it causing pain and i didnt like the scroll wheel so it had to go back. otherwise, i liked it alot. perhaps not as much as the 3.5g DA i use but i thought it was nicer than the DA2013.

Well, okay. I'll see if I can find a store where I can actually try how the mouse is (I think there's one here), or someone who has it and would let me try it. I guess G502 is my best option so it seems that it'll be my new gaming mice.

Thank you.
