Hey Folks,

My partner has a MS-Surface Pro (I think its version 7). It does "ok" ... but I'm just wondering if I was looking at a new touchscreen laptop ... what would be best bang for buck? With a little future proofing ... without breaking the bank. I heard Dell's were well made, not sure about Lenovo or HP, or if there's other ones.

Usage:

  • Univ. Prof. Chemistry - so teaching.
  • screen sharing
  • drawing pad / stillo via usb
  • everyday stuff - email / office / surf - etc.
Love to hear your ideas...

Any touchscreen laptop would be fine past the cheapest stuff with low end CPUs, I like Lenovo the best of the major brands. Ideapad Flex 5 is pretty good, convertible so the screen folds flat.
