So I type so much that I wear the letters off a keyboard in a few months. Normally I am careful to purchase keyboards with backlighting among other things because this means the characters are molded all the way thru the keys instead of just painted on. I've happened into a laptop in recent months that I'm quite happy with, it's been upgraded and added to.... had stickers applied..... it's not going anywhere. However it's keys are wearing off so I need to buy a new laptop. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas for an option other than replacing the keyboard twice a years? I don't think stickers would last any longer tho they might be cheaper than a new keyboard. I don't know if there is maybe a 3rd party company that makes replacement laptop keyboards that fix this problem in some way? Thoughts? I know I can just use an external keyboard... and I do when I can.... but still.... the problem exists. Thanks!
