Replacement Motherboard _ Recommendations?

Hi all,

First off, i'm not a major techy but a while back (when i had a bit of money!) i decided to build myself a PC. It's been running OK but recently its been falling over repeatedly, crashing on start-up, telling me i've overclocked it when i haven't, sometimes it won't boot at all. I suspected the motherboard from the start and a proper Technical friend of mine has just confirmed that it is the nearly definitely the cause.

So my question is, does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement motherboard for the config below? Unfortunately i can't afford to replace any of the other of the components at the moment so it has to be a straight swap for the board if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any help:

Current Board: Z-Asus Maximus Extereme ix38 - LGA775 socket

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz
4GB OCZ 4GB PC3-10666 Intel Extreme Edition RAM (1333hz)

This board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128496 should work with your ram and cpu. Sometimes you'll also find one on craigslist fairly cheap, but most of those use ddr2.
