Replacement motherboard for older Gigabyte (Help!)

Jul 25, 2007
My motherboard just blew up on a 4 year old build. I HAD this board-

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

What the new one has to be compatible with...

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA804

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor

I found this board... but am not 100% sure it is a plug and play. Can someone put another set of eyes on this?

ASRock G31M-S R2.0 LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Thanks guys!

A Micro-ATX is smaller but also has the screw holes in different places. I checked the Antec SONATA case and it says it's only compatible with ATX form-factor. Therefore the Micro-ATX's screw slots will NOT match with the ATX case
