Hi Everyone,
I’m looking at buying a new (or used) server to replace the aging machine we are currently utilizing for remote connections. Currently we have system running the following specs.
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1225 V3 @3.3Ghz
RAM: 24GB DDR3 1600MHZ
Storage: 1TB Local Storage (HDD)
OS: Server 2012 R2
The current use of this server as stated above is for approximately 24-users to connect remotely via an RDP connection. Typically, there are about 12 -16 users connected simultaneously and these employees access a database type application known as RollCall for data entry.
Any suggestions on good places to purchase used or refurbished servers OR suggestions on builds to replace what we are currently utilizing would be greatly appreciated.
