Hello,

I have replaced my old HP microtower AMD 2gb (running Win 7 Ent 32 bit) with an AMD 6 core 8gb PC running windows 7 Ent 32 bit.

My old machine still works and is wireless achieving speeds on virgin media of up to 50 mbps

My new machine however sat directly next to the old one is getting speeds of max 3 mbps and the same WNA3100 netgear card is also running slower on the new PC (about 54 mb ) and on the old PC its running at over 100mb

I have installed all drivers that came with the new machine (MSI mother board drivers and utilities) and still no improvement?

I really do not know what else to do. The network settings on each machine apart from the ip address are the same but broadband speed on each is so different.

any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

after a long process of elimination it appears that the separate HD5450 Radeon card I have in my machine is interfering with the wireless signal especially when using a HDMI cable.

Has anyone come across this and have a work around ?

Thanks
Rick
