Question Replacement

Hello guys

Can i replace my asus g751jm motherboard (gtx860m 2gb and intel i7-4710HQ) with a G751 motherboard with gtx980m 4gb and corei7-4710HQ??

The JM vt JY (980) etc should all just be variants of the same thing..... So in theory, yes.
In practice, I'm not 100% sure.

Thats what i think too
But i don't want to buy the motherboard without being sure in practice too
