Go to the motherboard manufactures website and check the CPU support list for the board. That's the only way to know. it will also tell you if the bios needs updated to support it.
Not sure what you're trying to accomplish but if it's anything beyond Web browsing and minor documents work you're probably wasting you time

Now the question is - why you want to upgrade? It is very old PC, 8 years and counting, it is good only for internet and light office now, what else?
If you insisting I need exact model of your current processor, get CPUID http://www.cpuid.com/ install it and run, first tab would provide all information, also I will need your BIOS version, CPUID will provide this as well under Mainboard tab. Please just write requested info, do not run complete CPUID report, it is too long.
