I found someone who are wiling to give me 5900x in exchange for 3600.

how much should I pay knowing that both processors still in warranty and bought on the same week ?

Depends, if you are gaming at 1440p or 4k, you are likely GPU bottle necked and you might not see much difference.

If you are an ultra competitive 1080p gamer, trying to push from like 200 to 300 frames, then you are likely CPU bottle necked, and this would help there.

If you are some a video editor or content creator, the additional six cores would be useful.

If you are just reading email and watching youtube, then 3600 is more than sufficient.
