Well playing on my rig is fun and all but there are many games i can't run at this point and i'm in need of a new GPU. I personally don't have a lot of knowledge either. I also happen to have an Intel(R) HD 4600 laying around and have been wondering if it would in any way be helpfull.

Current setup:

MB: Lenovo 10120
CPU: Intel(R) Core i7-4770 3.4GHz 4 cores.
power supply: 450W
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8570 (Radeon R7 200 series)
RAM: 16GB

I don't have a specific budget and would like to be able to play most games (and preferably have a GPU that will last me a while).

Solution
In that case I would look at an AMD R9 390 or 390x or Nvidia GTX 970 or 980.

The 980 Ti is probably overkill for your needs, but if you're wanting a card that will last a long time, then get the best card you can afford ... and DO NOT skimp out on the PSU, buy a reputable model from a reputable brand. (Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, Antec)
The GPU you're using is fairly underpowered compared to your CPU.

Being able to play most games doesn't take much, being able to play most games at your preferred settings is another matter. What resolution, what graphics quality, what games?

Also know that if you get a new graphics card, you will likely need to get a new power supply as well.

You don't have a specific budget, but a ballpark figure helps us help you.

Preferably new and new to come games, i currently own FO4 but am incapable of playing it due to my GPU. I was already planning on upping my PSU. Resolution is currently 1 monitor 1920x1080, i might get a new one but don't plan on going for a multi screen-setup. Everywhere between 150-500€ is fine but its not really limited. At some point i tought about the GeForce GTX 980 Ti but that'd be overkill i think.
