WUKONS :
Hi there, so I broke my USB connector on my blue snowball, ordered new connector, tried to solder but wiring pissed me off so I extended them and it all works but the mic is super quiet now,
may that be because of extended wiring?! Thanks.

BTW. this can be locked now - all sorted, thanks scout_03 anyways 😉
Hey there - I am dealing with this same issue - the usb connector on the back of my Blue Snowball has broken. I've got a new connector and am about to solder the wires in place from the pin header on the PCB - do you know which of the USB header pins are +5V, Grnd, D+ and D-.
Also - am confused as to why there are five header pins when USB has only four connectors - in fact, there are six wires to go to the USB B connector - one which grounds the usb socket direct to the internal metal chassis of the mic and then five to these header pins...
UPDATE OK, so I have played around with my soldering iron and a breadboard and I have figured out that the pins are (in the order they appear in my picture from left to right):
Grnd / Grnd / D+ / D- / +5V
Hope that helps someone else
