The graphics card on my 2013 PC died today. I want to replace it, but I don't know what will work with my old motherboard.

It was a pre-built from Scan and I still have the invoice. I'm getting the specs from there, the abbreviations might be a bit cryptic (sorry).

Motherboard: 3XS ONLY ASUS Z87-K MOBO
CPU: i5 4670K s1150
The dead card: 2GB EVGA GTX660 SC PCI-E
16Gb Ram

It's a tower case with plenty of room. I believe the PSU is 600 watts.

I was happy with the performance of the old card, so I guess anything that fits in the slot and works with the motherboard would do. If it can run 4 screens that would be a nice bonus.

Budget up to £300 (UK). I would prefer not to buy 2nd hand stuff.

Solution
What exact PSU make and model is it? You'll want to make sure it wasn't a poor quality PSU that caused it.
Also 600W of a bad quality PSU is usually not a good 600W!
