Replacing Dell 7720 motherboard

My dell inspiron 17r se (3d) has some problem with motherboard as the display does not work and the service guy i showed to says there is a problem with south bridge and he can either fix it or replace motherboard and is charging lot of money for both.
I looked up 7720 motherboard on ebay and alibaba it is much cheaper
there. However on alibaba they show the form factor to be atx. But on Dell website when i use my express code they say this :

Inspiron 17R Turbo (7720) BTX Base
FN02Y1 BASE (ASSEMBLY OR GROUP), NOTEBOOK, INSPIRON, BALANCED TECHNOLOGY EXTENDED, 7720
However I cant seem to find BTX form factor motherboard online. Will the
Dell Inspiron 17R 7720 Intel LAPTOP Motherboard MPT5M 0MPT5M DA0R09MB6H1
motherboard with ATX form factor work with my laptop?

Laptop motherboards are not interchangeable.

You need to get the exact model that goes with your laptop. The connections on other models are located in different places, and the connections will block the case from closing.

Laptop motherboards also have the CPU soldered on to them. When you replace the motherboard, you're also replacing the CPU. This will be expensive.
