I some how broke my old mother board by trying to clean my pc. Since its christmas soon I want to ask y parents for a new one that would cost 50$ ( with shipping ) to replace my DQ35JO intel motherboard ( I think thats its name ). The 50$ motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-AM1M-S2H AM1 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard ( newegg title ). I want my pc to b able to boot up faster then 3-4 min ( my old motherboard would take 4 min to boot up my pc ).

So is it a good choice? If not can you suggest a micro atx motherboard that would cost 50$ ( with a link where I can purchase it from)

PS sorry for my bad english

That is a very good board for office work and browsing. It is a low-cost desktop for basic tasks. It is not recommended for gaming.

I would recommend using the AMD Athlon 5370 with it and DDR3-1600MHz memory.

If your PC takes 3 or 4 minutes to boot, there is something wrong with it. Any current motherboard will be capable of booting of faster then 3-4 min.
That motherboard is not a good replacement for you unless you are planning to upgrade the whole system (motherbd, cpu, and ram)

Your current motherbd is socket 775 which means that it has an Intel socket 775 cpu and ddr2 ram/memory; therefor a suitable motherbd to swap all the existing things over to would also need to be socket 775 that accepts ddr2 ram.

Please verify your broken motherbds model# for us, it should be printed somewhere on the motherbd itself.
Thanks.
