My friend owns an Asus k52f laptop that had a bad hard drive. I had an extra hard drive from my macbook pro (2011). I installed it into her computer and ran the recovery disks that came with her computer. The reformatting and installation seemed to go fine. But the drive will not boot.
Is there a reason why a hard drive from an apple computer won't work in an asus computer?
I checked the bios and the drive is recognized. I also made sure the HD was the primary drive to boot.
Any help would be very appreciated.
