i have an old pc which has integrated graphics. it has the ati radeon xpress 200 driver. i want to put a video card in the pc. do i have to uninstall the integrated driver before i install the new video card?? thanks!

Naaa. Just pop the card in, and hook the power up.

Make sure you can actually both power and fit the card into the mobo though. If you are unsure then post the card, motherboard and PSU.

This dude is wrong!!

You have to disable the integrated graphics at BIOs level..or you will get conflicts!!

Go into the bios and turn off the graphics setting!! THEN install the card this gives the profiles a chance to embed!

I still have one more question. I went into the bios and there is no option to disabe the inboard graphics. Should I just install the card anyway? It is a hp 2200dx. On the website they recomend the ati x1300 which is the card I am going to install.
