I am looking to replace the disk in my laptop.
How would I best go about NOT losing the installation of windows that is on the current disk and then transferring it to the new one?

I would try and use cloning software to clone the disk. This makes an identical copy. I use Aomei Backupper. Lots of people us Macrium Reflect. They are both free.
Question should i put the new 3050 lp in a sff hp g3?
