Hello,
CAN I REPLACE THE MOTHER BOARD WITH A NEW ONE WITHOUT HAVING TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS XP (I DONT HAVE THE DISK, I GOT THE COMPUTER WITH XP PREINSTALLED?
IF SO WHAT SHOULD I DO ?
THANKS

There is a less then 50% chance that XP will work after a motherboard change. It will want to install a lot of drivers and probably just blue screen if it boots at all.

You would probably be best off getting a legal copy of Windows and use that. Normally preinstalled operating systems tell you a way to make software install disks if you have to reinstall.

i agree to that, ive done that so many times it works, and uninstall the old mobo drivers too

What motherboard do you have installed and what are you installing? I have installed like:like mobo's many times with no issue especially if its the same make with same chipset, then their is a good chance the drivers are the same.
