I just wanted to ask a vague, hypothetical.
I have Windows 10 with the anniversary update. I will eventually want to upgrade my motherboard and CPU, mobo currently gigabyte and will aim for the upgrade to be gigabyte, and the CPU to a new generation of intel processor.
Upon booting this hypothetical new device, would it be a simple matter of the computer updating itself and then me going into windows and troubleshooting via my Microsoft account.
I have found older articles pre-anniversary update which conflict with newer articles following the update that say the process of upgrading a motherboard and CPU is much simpler.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks
