I am looking to replace my motherboard which appears to have a broken CPU pin in its socket but can’t see it or remove the socket (without breaking it). It looks like it’s bending the same replaced cpu pin so I don’t want to cause further damage to the cpu.
I’m going from B450 to X570. Are there any tips you can give me when doing the swap?
I will be downloading the windows tool onto usb and downloading the latest bios for my new mobo just in case). Any other tips would be very helpful

Windows 10 ?. Don't need to change it just make sure that you update drivers.
