[SOLVED] Replacing my GTX1070, can't really decided with which new graphic card

Hey guys,

so basically i wanna replace my 1070 because in new games like Ghost Recon or the new Call of Duty it's comming to it's limits. In future with RDR2 releasing i wanna have a better graphic card. Currently i'm choosing between 5700 XT or a 2070 Super, in terms of performance they seem to be on the same wave, in some games the 2070 performs better in some the 5700xt. Which custom design would be the better choice when playing games like GTAV, new CoD, RDR2?

2070 Super mostly,however you can check benchmarks for the particular games you need and set what you want

I would wait until next year. Nvidia will probably be releasing the RTX 3000 series sometime around September or October 2020. You can get a decent discount on the RTX 2080 Super or get a RTX 3070 which may have the same performance as the 2080/Super.

My own personal view on hardware upgrades is to only do it if there is about a 50% performance increase on CPU and 60% on GPU compared to what I have and what I do with them. Going from my GTX 970 to a 1070 was about a 70+% upgrade for most games I play.
