Hello, I recently fried my old motherboard (Pegatron Formosa IPMMB-FM) by being overconfident.
Now replacing.... due to the old i7 3770, my options are pretty limited. and I'm kinda on a budget :/ so I chose the cheapest decent motherboard I could find (Asus P8Z77).
if you would recommend another motherboard I'm still open to suggestions.
First time ever installing a motherboard! So if some of you guys got some tips or things I need to be aware of please tell me
Other specs of my PC
GPU (Gigabyte GTX 1060 OC 6gb)
SSD (Samsung evo 670)
ram and psu I will keep but I don't know the exact names
Thanks in advance

Replacing the motherboard with the same chipset and CPU, you don't need to change the RAM.
Unless you want/need to.
Likewise the PSU.

You will, however, need to do a full OS reinstall.
