Replacing OS drive, what to do with my RAID array?

Hello,

I am upgrading my boot drive to a SSD (Win7 64 fresh install) and have a question about my separate RAID1 storage (software RAID through windows).

Is there anything i need to do with my RAID drives when switching OS drives? I plan to back up the data just in case, but would prefer not spending hours copying and recopying data.

Good that you're backing it up..... I would install Windows on my ssd, without my raid drives installed yet. I'd get my computer all up and running first. Then, i'd install my raid drives and drivers. You should be able to access it no problem. good luck.
