SO basically i have 2 laptops with me, both have 1tb harddrives and both have windows 10. one ran into an issue and I had to use a usb media thingy to bring it back to life. When I did that I lost a ton of amazing features that I could do. That's because it isn't the same version of windows 10 I had. But the other laptop has the windows 10 version I want. If I switch them will the laptop that lost features be able to boot on the other hardrive or is there a process? if so, can you lis the steps THanks!

Solution
Install trackpad drivers from laptop manufacturer support web site.

Identical hardware basically means identical laptop model number. It needs to have the same motherboard. Amount of ram doesn't matter and hdd model also doesn't matter.
