So recently my pc started restarting during high power apllications becasue the psu was underpowered.
I've taken out the old hp 460 watt (model no.DPS-460DB-3A)and replaced it with a corsair cx 750.
I connected everything up okay but I've just discovered a single 4 wire cable (2 black, 2 white) with a square 4 pin P7 connecter.
This leads to a socket on the motherboard near the CPU and immediately next to the case fan power cable.
Unfortunately on my new cx 750 psu theres no matching or even similar connection.
What does the black and white 4 pin do and if its something I need how do I solve the problem?
