Is it better if I buy hyperx 16 gb ram, 2 sticks, 3000mhz and just put it in my pc or if i buy those two sticks and still have my old 8gb ram which will make it 24gb ram but two are hyperx and one is slower and a different manufacturer
Don't mix and match ram's, please. Buy a Kit and use that or buy the same stick of ram you currently have and always try to work in pairs, if you want to run in dual channel mode.

I was just wonder is it better to mix them or use the whole kit. Thanks for answering.
Always whole kit. Mixing RAM is a gamble, it may or may not not have issues. These issues can range from not even booting, stability problems or not being able to run at rated speed or dual channel.
