replacing speaker system

Solution
What's your budget?
Are you looking at 2 speakers configuration or you prefer 2.1 (2 speakers and a sub), 4.1, 5.1, etc.?
Take a look at:
Logitech z533
Cyber Acoustics CA-3602

Logitech z533
Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 either ones....do i need adopters , not sure what to do pc was given to me mint condition only thing missing were speakers

You don't need any adapters, they both use standard stereo 3.5 mm connections. Just make sure your PC sound is working.
If I remember correctly that PC has a green 3.5 mm connection on the back, where to connect speakers, between the pink Mic and blue In connections.
It also have two 3.5 mm connections in the from (Mic & headphone).

Connect a headphone to the front 3.5 mm jack and the green 3.5 mm jack on the back then play a music file.
Make sure the volume in the PC is not mute.
That way you will know if there is sound before purchasing the speakers.
