Hi Everyone! I'm looking to replace four stock fans.
My case is a Corsair Carbide 400C, wich comes with two stock fans: one is a 140mm fan and the other is a 120mm fan.
I Also need to replace the two stock fans from my CPU cooler, a Corsair H100i.
The thing is, that the four of them together are way too noisy... I want something a lot quieter with the same or even better performance.
¿Wich fans would you recommend?

Thanks!

Solution
140mm case fans:
Phanteks F140XP / F140SP / F140TS - quiet high performance fans. SP-versions are available with LED
Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 / Silent Wings 3 - inaudible fans. not as high performance in terms of air moved but usually sufficient enough
Noctua NF-A14 FLX / NF-A-14 PWM - really great fans, comparable to the Phanteks. if you can stand the design.
Cougar CFD D-14HB - good fans, really good performance, colourful, quiet

120mm case fans:
Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 / Silent Wings 3 - see above
Noctua NF-P12 / S12A FLX / S12A PWM / S12B - all of them are good. maybe the best 120mm fans there are
Cougar CFD D12HB / Vortex - see above. the D12-HB are a bit better than the Vortex but...

as for the H100i, the Cougar D12-HB & Noctua NF-P12 would be usuable or the new Corsair ML120
but replacing Rad-fans isn't my area of expertise.
IF the H100i uses standard Corsair SP120, those 2 fan models would be superior.

Solution

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Ranger
Processor: i7 4790k
RAM: Hyperx Fury DDR3 1600mhz 2x8gb
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB DDR5
HDD: Western Digital Black 1TB + Western Digital Blue 1TB
Water Cooling: Corsair H100i V2
PSU: SeaSonic M12II 750w

The H100i is on the front of the case as intake, with the 120mm and the 140mm exhausting air on rear and top respectively.
Never set up a speed. They're noisy even when i'm not doing anything. If I start a game or editing a video they go crazy.

so they are controlled fans, ok, the noctua mentioned for the aio could help alot

the others, in bios you can sometimes set them to work at 1000rpm or slower, so they move air but don't make noise

usualy most cases will have the 1400 in the front taking cold air in and in the back those 120 you mention, but if it is better for you

Would it be foolish to get the Industrial Ppc from Noctua? I know they're louder 'cause they're faster, but I could set them to work slower too... The thing is, most of the fans you guys recommended are not available in my country.

Thank you so much for the detailed info! I'll be getting the Noctua PWM versions since I'm unable to get the Phankets in my country.
