Hi
My sharkoon skiller keyboard is perfect for me and I'm not into the whole mechanical keyboarding. However it has a blue led and I would to change it to red. How would i go along doing this? I would appreciate some help
Thank you !
Also it comes with some rubberized blue keycap replacement what should I use to paint/change the colour of those to red ?
Thank you.

Solution
They might have actually used a LED bulb 3mm size, or even 5mm or a bigger SMD. Either way, someone who can solder could do it in under a minute.
It's more than likely a SMD 0603 style LED. They are smaller than a grain of rice, so unless you are good at soldering, it's hard to do. for someone who can solder, would take 15 seconds once you take the keyboard apart.

I have a feeling painting the rubber caps, the paint would wear off rather quick from wear and tear. The best bet would be to try a Kyrlon fusion plastic spray paint. It bonds better plastic and things and might adhere into it, but I would think it would wear off. I used to mod xbox and ps2's and 360's and all that back in the day and painting controllers and buttons and things, paint would start to wear off a bit sometimes. Sometimes you'd get lucky and get a good paint bond.

Thanks for the tips ! However I took a part the keyboard earlier and I'm sure the led is bigger than that I will find a way to show a picture but I will have to get back to you later because I'm in the UK and its too dark now so I will get back to you.
And thanks for the quick reply!
