After 1-2 months of using the ASRock Z97 Extreme4 I ran into tedious power problems including it not even being able to get power. After reading many other reviews and reports about the similar issue I have decided instead of replacing this board I'm just going to get a new one.

What motherboard should I get for this build?

P.S. Stay away from the ASRock Z97 Extreme4. I didn't know how common of a problem it was for it to just quit life.

Solution
Both the A and the Pro are great mobos, I went w/ the Hero. Have built on both the Pro and the A and you should be quite happy with either one 😉
I was thinking about getting either the z97-A as recommended above or the asus z97 pro. it has wifi and bluetooth which are nice features. Does anyone know if the board is worth the extra money? I don't need these features, but they would be helpful and if everything works good I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra.

Did you ever try using the bluetooth or the wifi feaatures? If they don't work properly/well then I don't want to pay the extra money.
