[SOLVED] replacing the same gpu

I'm currently using a gtx 1660ti as my gpu, and found some problems with it. So I had Amazon send me the exact same graphics card to replace my defective one. Now the question is, do I have to reinstall the drivers? I know that I have to uninstall and install new drivers for a completely different gpu, but if it's the exactly same gpu from the exact same manufacturer, can I just insert the new gpu without doing anyting? I'm worried that it might cause some defects if I just replace it without uninstalling anything. Should I just reinstall the window?

Now the question is, do I have to reinstall the drivers?

If it's the same GPU it will use the same NVIDIA drivers. You should be fine.
If you encounter any issues, then just use DDU to uninstall the old ones and install latest.

Regardless, you certainly can't harm anything either way.

But don't worry, you should be absolutely fine, it should use exactly the same NV driver.

That's just a last resort should for some reason it start playing up with drivers.
