I would like to replace the tiny 128 gb SSD that came with this computer with a 1 TB SSD. This should be a simple case of pull the old one out and replace with one that fits, however...

The slot is labelled an M-Key SSD, the SSD that is currently in there is a B and M key. To me, this means that an M key SSD should work but according to crucial and others, I need to use a B and M key SSD. So what is going on here? Did HP run out of B and M Key slots or will this take an M key only SSD? As for brand, I will go with whatever happens to be on sale.

As there is no B and M key slot to worry about I guess I can get either one.

Edit: Actually the keys weren't my only concern, what I was concerned was getting a card with the right interface, eg.: PCI-Express 3.0 x2 with NVMe, PCI-Express 3.0 x4 with NVMe, or SATA III 3D NAND.
